Quote of the Day

The system continues to fail black people, and it will continue to fail you all. My son loved this city and this city killed my son and the murderer gets away. . . . I'm mad as hell right now.

So, basically, an agent of the security state is justified in killing any citizen, just because they're acting as an agent of the security state or for any irrational "reason" whatsoever. That this was a verdict wrought by a jury of our "peers," is all the more troubling because it means that we are imposing state sanctioned tyranny upon ourselves. . . . I can't imagine what atrocities we will have to tolerate going forward.
